On Testable Minds, there are two ways in which the reseracher can confirm your participation. The first one is done by automatically redirecting you to a completion page once you finished the study. If the experimental software the researcher is using allows for this, there is nothing you need to do and your participation will count automatically.
If the researcher is not able to use a redirect link, they can also ask you prove your participation via a
completion code.
This is a unique code that is shown at the very end of the experiment. By entering thiscode on Testable MInds when prompted, you can prove that you’ve done the study all the way to the end.
Please read the final (debrief) screen of each experiment carefully and look out for a completion code.
It’s best to use copy+paste to enter the code on Testable Minds, to ensure that spelling and capitalisationmatches the original.
It is essential that you pay attention to find and enter the correct completion code when this is required, as we have no way to verify your participation otherwise in these types of studies.
